On the mend / Gyógyulgatunk

Today we had Jack and Annushka over to have fun with and we managed to keep our minds off the ear infections as much as possible. Grandma always found new ways to entertain everybody, Jack especially got really fond of her./
Ma itt volt nálunk Jack és Annuska, akikkel -na meg Nagyi hathatós segítségével- hatalmasat játszottunk annak ellenére is, hogy a három gyerek közül kettőnek éppen fülgyulladása van.

First of all: basement-playroom time! / Először is lementünk az új játszószobába.Snoopy, and Jack's fave, George had to have rides on the slide. / Snoopy és Jack George majma jó sokszor lecsúsztak a csúszdán.
Grandma discovered that she can fit through this IKEA tube, too. / Nagyi nem gondolta volna, hogy könnyen befér ebbe a csőbe.Since the sick little ones are not too keen on eating we tried to keep snacks around all the time. They did a great job eating as much as possible. / A kis betegeket sikerült rávenni, hogy egyenek is néha.
Now this seemed to be one of the most popular games. Helping me with the laundry! / Ez volt az egyik kedvenc időtöltésük!After Annushka got here, we played upstairs and then went even more up, to "cook" some food, play with trains and the like. / Annuska érkezése és egy kis felső szinti játék után még feljebb is mentünk a hálószobák játékait felfedezni. Lunch was "whateveryoumightdesire": some of us had mini pizzas, rice, chicken or pasta. Then came stories and naps.
Jack was somewhat resistant to the idea of going to sleep without Mama, but eventually his tiredness and my silly song about how everybody is taking a nap overtook his determination and quite literally he fell asleep sitting upright in my lap. I could then easily transfer him to the fire truck bed. /
Ebéd után kisebb ellenállás mellett sikerült végül mindenkit meggyőzni arról, hogy egy kis alvás jót fog tenni.

Bori is demonstrating how naps are done, she made this paper-bed for herself during her rest time. / Bori ezt a papírból készült ágyat a pihenés alatt készítette és nagy büszkén mutatja, hogy hogyan kell rajta aludni.
Here is the whole gang, ready for some Bob the builder. Barnus is in his PJ's because they had a special day in school: a popcorn party combined with a PJ party!/ Íme mind az öten, Bob-ra várva. Barnusnak ma pizsi party volt az iskolában!

The little ones got bored with TV soon, so they went off playing some more. I thought this theme was very adequate today. / A kisebbek hamarosan inkább játszani keztek, mi mást, mint orvososat!
