Jelentés a medencéből / The pool in the basement

No, we did not install a pool in the basement. At least not willingly...
But.
The water heater element that was replaced a couple of months ago burst in half during the night (no known reasons were detected for this) which meant that water was puring into the basement while we were sleeping. This is how it looked when we discovered it:

After many phone calls and much craziness we had a company here to take care of the water and a plumber to fix the heater.
The craziness also resulted in Lana coming over to help and this way she could join us to watch the girls' last gym class!
The girls were amazing!!!

In the afternoon we had more craziness, pick up time, snack and TV, and then: dancing as princesses! I had to dress up, too and Barnus assumed the role of photographer!

We also painted a lot, and then it was time to go home for Annushka.

By then we had all the wet stuff on the porch, the carpet ripped up and carried away, much of the things dry and 13 fans plus two dehumidifiers going int the basement.

Well, it was a very full day for sure!

Nos, reggel, mikor felébredünk sose tudhatjuk, mit tartogat a nap!
Ma például áradást a pincében...
Eltörött ugyanis a mízmelegítő egyik alkatrésze az éjszaka és mire felébredtünk, az egész pince kb. 10 centi vízben állt. Nem örültünk.

Sok-sok telefonálás eredménye képpen 10 órára már meg is kezdődött a víz eltávolítása és délutánra a szönyeget is felszedték, a vízmelegítőt megjavították és megkezdődött a pince kiszárítása. Ehhez amúgy 13 hatalmas ventillátort és két ipari párátlanítót helyeztek el a pincében. Szerencsére ha becsukjuk az ajtókat, alig hallani őket!
Elvileg 3 nap, míg kiszárad minden, és nem is olyan sok dolog ment tönkre! Ráadásul ennek hatására végre rákényszerülünk a padló burkolat kicserélésére, amit eddig halasztgattunk. Sőt, talán így ennek a költéségét valamennyire állja majd a biztosító! Szóval, szépen alakulnak a dolgok, és ha sikerült felpörgetni a rendberakást, mire Mikiék jönnek Hálaadásra, minden szép új lesz odalent!

Ma volt amúgy a lányok utolsó tornaórája ebben a szezonban, és nagyon ügyesek voltak (Lana is eljött megnézni), plusz délután hatalmas táncolást rendeztünk hercegnőknek öltözve és volt nagy festés is!
